Commercial spaces, painted around your business.
A commercial space has to keep working. Paint it badly and customers notice; paint it at the wrong time and your team feels it. We plan commercial projects around your operations: the areas, the schedule, the access and the people who use the space every day, so the finish is clean and the disruption is kept to a minimum.
01Who we paint for
Every kind of commercial space, planned on its own terms.
A restaurant, a clinic and a warehouse have little in common except one thing: they need to keep working. Here's how we think about each.
01Offices
A well-painted office tells clients and staff that the business is looked after. We paint workstations, meeting rooms and reception areas in the sequence that keeps people working.
- Reception and lobby
- Open-plan work areas
- Meeting rooms and private offices
- Corridors, washrooms and kitchenettes
We plan around staff, furniture, and cabling and equipment that needs protecting.
02Retail & showrooms
The walls are the backdrop to everything you sell. We work to the colours and finishes your brand calls for, and plan the schedule around trading hours and stock.
- Sales floor and feature walls
- Fitting rooms and counters
- Back-of-house and storage
- Storefront, doors and frames
Often scheduled around opening hours and a launch or re-fit date.
03Restaurants & hospitality
Dining rooms, bars and cafés take a lot of wear. We paint the spaces guests see and the ones they don't, with finishes chosen to suit each area.
- Dining rooms and bars
- Kitchens and prep areas
- Washrooms and corridors
- Entrances and patios
Kitchens and food areas call for particular finishes. We'll talk it through with you.
04Clinics & wellness
Calm, clean-looking rooms matter in a clinic. We plan the work in sections so treatment rooms and waiting areas can be refreshed with the least disruption.
- Waiting rooms and reception
- Treatment and consulting rooms
- Corridors and washrooms
- Staff and storage areas
Sectioned scheduling, tidy work areas and clear communication with your team.
05Apartment & condo buildings
Lobbies, corridors and stairwells are the first thing residents and visitors see. We work with property managers and condo boards to schedule common-area painting floor by floor.
- Lobbies and entrances
- Corridors and landings
- Stairwells and railings
- Amenity rooms and parking garages
Notice to residents, access to units and floor-by-floor sequencing.
06Warehouses & industrial
Large floor areas and high ceilings call for the right access equipment and a clear plan. We scope the work after seeing the space.
- Walls and ceilings
- Offices and wash areas within the unit
- Doors, frames and bollards
- Line marking and safety colours, to be discussed
Ceiling height, access equipment and keeping operations running.
What you can expect from us.
Planned around your operations
Tell us when the space is quiet. We build the schedule, and the order of areas, around your business rather than the other way round.
A written scope
Your estimate lists the areas, surfaces, preparation and schedule, so there are no surprises when the work starts.
Clean, protected work areas
Floors, fittings and equipment are protected, and areas are left tidy and ready to use at the end of each stage.
One accountable team
Sahira Painting is part of SecuReno Inc., an Ottawa renovation company, so if your project involves other work as well, you can talk to one company.
How a commercial project runs
From walk-through to handover.
- 01
Walk-through
We visit the space, see the surfaces, ceiling heights and access, and talk through how your business uses it.
- 02
Scope & schedule
We prepare a written estimate with the areas, preparation, colours and a proposed schedule, including whether any work should happen outside business hours.
- 03
Prepare & protect
Furnishings, floors and equipment are protected, and surfaces are prepared as agreed.
- 04
Paint in stages
Areas are painted in the agreed order so the rest of the space can keep operating.
- 05
Handover
We walk the finished areas with you, address anything that needs attention and leave the space ready to use.
Requesting an estimate

Questions
Commercial painting, answered.
Can you work outside business hours?
Tell us what you need when you request an estimate. Whether evening, overnight or weekend work is possible depends on the project, and we confirm the proposed schedule in your written estimate.
Can the business stay open while you paint?
In many cases, yes. We plan the work in sections, and we'll discuss which areas can be closed off and when.
How do you price commercial work?
Commercial projects are priced after a site walk-through, because the floor area, ceiling heights, access, preparation and schedule all affect the work. There is no online price for commercial painting.
Do you paint apartment and condo buildings?
We can quote common areas such as lobbies, corridors and stairwells. Property managers and condo boards are welcome to request an estimate.
What should I include in my request?
The type of space, the approximate floor area, which areas need painting, whether the space is occupied, when you'd like the work done and a few photos. Anything you don't know can be skipped.
